One of our clients, a mid-sized Japanese company, has set up operations in the U.S. As part of its long term strategy, it assigned to Beganto the task of:

Towards the execution of this project, Beganto set up a multi disciplinary project team tasked with the following:
Content Planning
Specifically, the component engineering team went ahead and undertook a comprehensive survey of the websites of large engineering companies in the U.S. and compiled the listings of their content. The relative merits of the content were evaluated. This evaluation was supplemented with a survey among the design engineers and a final list was prepared comprising of the various components of the proposed website. This list was discussed with the customer and finalized which comprised the following components:
Web Development
Next, the web developer started work on the creative aspect of the web space development and formulated various alternates. The site map was also developed along with each of these alternates and the entire framework was discussed and finalized with the customer.
Phase-wise Implementation
The above framework was divided into a number of phases, each phase reflecting the priority and relative importance that the customer assigns to each feature, functionality and the product category/group.
The content development was done such that it may be easily understood by the target audience ensure rich user experience in terms of overall flow and search functionality to the visiting design engineer, rank high on the selected key words in the various search engines.
Evaluation
The first phase has been completed and has been deployed. The exercise has proved very successful, as measured by the number of visitors on this site. The assignment has now progressed to the next phase of development of the website content.
